This policy provides financial support for refresher courses for experienced individuals previously educated as registered nurses, registered psychiatric nurses, and licensed practical nurses. Nurses Recruitment and Retention Fund funding is provided in exchange for a 12-month return of service commitment. This policy applies to Nurses, Psychiatric Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses. This policy is overseen by the Nurses Recruitment and Retention Fund Committee.
