Canadian Armed Forces Community Discounts

CAF offers a wide variety of discounts to members of the Canadian Armed Forces community, including discounts on attractions, events, recreation, dining, shops and services, entertainment, and house and home, including many online-only discounts.

How to Transfer Professional Licences and Certifications

If you hold a professional licence or certification and you are moving to a new province or country, you may need to transfer your licence or certification for it to be valid. Your local Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC) or local professional association can help you navigate the steps you need to take.

Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) Community Connections Program Guide

Check out the CAF Community Connections Program Guide to learn more about the many programs and services available to the military community in Winnipeg. These include newcomer and relocation support, deployment support, volunteer services, employment and educational support, children's programs, child care information and lots more.

City of Winnipeg Recreation Programs and Services

French Services and Supports

Your MFRC second language and Francophone services co-ordinators can connect you with community resources for French supports in the community. This includes French-speaking tutors in all school subjects, as well as sports and activities provided in French.
