Mosquito fogging
Nuisance mosquito control programs are the responsibility of the municipality. However, when there are high numbers of trapped Culex tarsalis mosquitoes -- the mosquitoes known to carry the West Nile Virus -- the province will issue an order to the municipality or communities concerned to begin mosquito fogging, in order to control the health risk.
