Infant Contact Lens Program
Contact lenses for congenital disorders in infants are eligible for rebate when prescribed by an ophthalmologist and the costs are not paid through other provincial or federal programs. Manitoba Health will provide one lens per eye, per infant. The maximum allowable reimbursement is $190 for a single lens and $380 for bilateral lenses.
