Winter Tire Program

The Winter Tire Program provides low-interest financing to eligible Manitobans. This financing can be used for the purchase of qualifying winter tires, and associated costs, from participating retailers. Administered by Manitoba Public Insurance (MPI), the program will provide loans up to 48 months in length at prime rate plus two per cent for up to $2,000 per vehicle. To be eligible for a loan, the applicant must be an individual and an MPI customer, purchase qualifying winter tires for a registered passenger vehicle or light truck, and not be subject to financing restrictions.
