This application form must be fully completed in order for a project proponent (an individual, company, organization, federal government department/agency or agency sponsoring/financing the project) to apply for a provincial park permit. Under the Provincial Parks Act and regulations, a provincial park permit is required in order to engage in a variety of specific activities within a provincial park, including those that may damage, destroy, deface or remove an object in a provincial park, damage or alter the land, or significantly interfere with the environment in a provincial park.
This document provides direction to Sustainable Development staff on the procedure for issuing provincial park permits. The procedure includes details on where/when permits are required and for what activities, special conditions, inspections, and which staff may issue permits. This provincial park permit is NOT the same as the camping permit or vehicle permit for park entry.
Individuals who have previously held Manitoba certification including successfully participating in a recognized ODS training program may become recertified. To initiate your recertification, you must complete and return this application form and remit payment to MOPIA. An annual fee is charged to all certification holders as specified under the Manitoba Ozone Depleting Substances and Other Halocarbons Regulation 103/94.

Any person installing, servicing (purchasing) or repairing equipment (i.e. A/C, refrigeration, fire suppression, etc.) that contains a regulated substance, including a refrigerant or halon, as specified under the Manitoba Ozone Depleting Substances and Other Halocarbons Regulation 103/94, must maintain valid certification. Your certificate is renewable annually. Please utilize this form to renew your certification.

The purpose of this document is to provide a procedure for the Department to vary winter spreading dates in autumn on a regional/provincial basis.  The Livestock Manure and Mortalities Management Regulation and Nutrient Management Regulation both contain clauses restricting the application of livestock manure and nutrients to land between November 10th of one year and April 10th of the following year.  Both regulations contain clauses allowing the director to vary winter spreading dates, if necessary, after considering soil and weather conditions.

Seasonal Campsite Application contains three forms which need to be presented to the public as one package, not separate applications. Seasonal Campsite Application, Accessible Seasonal Campsite Physician Certificate and Seasonal Campsite Application Credit Card Payment Form will be publicly posted together under "Seasonal Campsite Application". 

A Secondary Permit is required in the Province of Manitoba for companies who purchase regulated air conditioning equipment/parts or substances, under Manitoba Regulation 103/94. A Secondary Distributor is a company that imports into the province or purchases in the province an ODS or equipment, other than a white good (i.e. fridge, freezer). Contact MOPIA for more details or for a copy of the legislation.

Only certified individuals and Secondary Distributors may purchase regulated products as described under MR 103/94.

Certified Technicians and Secondary Distributor permit holders are required to submit ODS use records for the previous year by February 1st of the current year. This is a record data sheet that you can use to track your records throughout the year. Applicant with approval to hold a special event at Birds Hill Provincial Park may pay for the event permit at Manitoba Sustainable Development office at 200 Saulteaux Crescent in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Payment will be processed by Saulteaux staff upon review of this confirmation letter.
