The Building Sustainable Communities grant helps build thriving sustainable communities that provide a high quality of life for Manitobans. The grant leverages investments in community development by local governments, non-profit organizations and others.

Building Sustainable Communities provides a grant contribution of 50 per cent of eligible project costs up to $75,000 and up to $300,000 for large capital projects. Eligible applicants include non-profit organizations, charitable organizations, municipalities and Northern Affairs community councils

Corporations participating in the Community Enterprise Development Tax Credit Program (CEDTC) must submit an Annual Subscription Proceeds Report.  Elements include documenting the use and impact of Subscription Proceeds received in the taxation year, the number and type of jobs created, the value of assets acquired and the number of new investors.

Corporations participating in the Community Enterprise Development Tax Credit Program (CEDTC) must complete an Annual Share and Tax Credit Receipt Issuance Report verifying the name, address and Social Insurance Number of eligible investors, as well as the number and class of shares issued, the total amount paid by the Investor and the amount of the Tax Credit issued.

An Authorized Signing Officer for a corporation that has been approved to participate in the Manitoba Community Enterprises Development Tax Credit Program (CEDTC) must sign and return this form to acknowledge that they have read and understood the attached conditions of program approval and their ongoing corporate responsibilities as a participant.

Individuals that invest in a business participating in the Community Enterprise Development Tax Credit Program must complete and sign a copy of this form to acknowledge the risk involved in making their investment. This form also provides permission for information provided by the investor to be used for program purposes pursuant to the rules and standards of Canada's Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA).

Volume 2 contains provincial policies and standards with respect to the development, operation and licensing requirements of group care facilities, including the administrative procedures by which licences are issued, maintained, renewed and cancelled. The forms in this manual are not for public use. This is only used once approval for a license has been given.  This volume replaces the earlier Child Care Facilities Licensing Manual.

The Community Arts Councils Operating Support program provides non-profit community organizations outside the City of Winnipeg with annual operating grants.  The program supports organizations that develop and coordinate a variety of arts programming open to the public in a range of arts disciplines.  The program increases access to local arts programming across the province by encouraging arts skills development, arts presentation opportunities and building community and municipal support for the arts.

The Community Festivals and Events program provides rural and northern communities with operating grants towards organizing a festival that takes place over a minimum of two days.  These festivals must be recognized as the community's signature annual event and promote the understanding, awareness and appreciation of their heritage, culture and identity.  The program supports events that encourage youth participation and leadership; reflect, celebrate, and profile the unique character of the community; foster a sense of identity and pride; and contribute to local tourism and economic activity.

The Consolidated Arts Program provides non-profit community-based arts organizations with an annual operating grant to support the administration and coordination of a variety of arts programming open to the public in a range of arts disciplines.  This includes staging performances/exhibitions of member artists or guest artists and offering arts instruction.  This program supports arts skills development, arts presentation, community support for the arts, increased accessibility of arts programs
