The purpose of this letter is to notify child care facilities of consistent, province-wide requirements regarding the use of recreational water, including but not limited to residential in-ground and above-ground swimming pools, portable pools, "kiddie" or inflatable wading pools, hydro-massage pools, hot tubs, and spas in licensed child care facilities.

As per Subsection 178(2) of The Public Schools Act; each school board shall, on or before March 31 of each year, submit to the minister in the manner and form prescribed by the minister, an estimate of its proposed budget showing the revenues, expenditures and other financial information relating to its school division for the immediately ensuing fiscal year.
