This policy is a technical guide to the file layout for electronic submission of claims for services rendered by practitioners.  It describes the specifications that must be met by medical billing software to ensure that electronically submitted claims are received successfully by Manitoba Health, Seniors and Active Living. This policy is applicable all practitioners and their staff who are involved in the process of electronic billing of claims to Manitoba Health, Seniors and Active Living. This policy is enforced by Manitoba Health, Seniors and Active Living.
