This guide directs recreational water facility operators to inform patrons of any incidence of fecal or vomit that necessitates closure of a recreational water facility in order to protect the public and facility staff from infection or illness. The guide is applicable to operators of recreational water facilities and outlines three different procedures recommended for disinfecting water in recreational water facilities contaminated by fecal/vomitus accidents.
