The Guide establishes a common set of hygienic practices for the safe collection, processing, packaging, transporting and storing of commercial prepackaged water and the collection, transportation, storage, processing and dispensing of non-prepackaged water for human consumption offered for sale. The guide is applicable to the operators of Water Bottling Plants or Water Vending Machines that must obtain regulatory approval to process and sell water for domestic purposes.
