The City of Winnipeg Food Services Establishment By-law No. 5160/89
The purpose of this by-law requires that food service establishments to obtain a valid permit prior to operation. The by-law is applicable to all food service establishments and administered by the Medical Health Officer or Public Health Inspector for compliance with the provisions of the City of Winnipeg License By-law and amendments thereto. Health, Seniors and Active Living enforces part of the by-law.
