This information guide is used by Manitoba Health, Seniors and Active Living to provide answers to common questions about personal care services and daily residential charges, such as rate determination, rate reduction and disposable income. In addition, the information guide provides the table of residential charges that is used to calculate a resident's daily rate based on income. The information guide is applicable to Manitoba Health, Seniors and Active Living, other departments within the Provincial government, the Regional Health Authorities, personal care home facilities, residents of personal care home facilities and their families/representatives and the general public. The information guide is updated on an annual basis by Manitoba Health, Seniors and Active Living.
