This policy confirms the requirements for Health Authority (HA) board governance and accountability. The policy sets out the governance and accountability roles and responsibilities of the boards, and clarifies the relationship between HAs and the service providers contracted to provide services on their behalf. This policy is applicable to all boards that are accountable to the Minister of Health. This policy is enforced by Manitoba Health, Seniors and Active Living.
