A commission or remuneration payable to a Salesperson by a registered broker as a result of mortgage broker activity requires the recipient of the commission or remuneration to be registered under The Mortgage Brokers Act. This is a Commission Order which exempts a corporation controlled by a Salesperson that receives the compensation payable to the Salesperson from the requirements to be registered under The Mortgage Brokers Act. To rely upon the exemption, the Corporation must meet the terms and conditions set out in the order.
